A severely injured Peregrine Falcon, recuperating in the Bernice Barbour Wildlife Clinic since last October, was released today.

The falcon spends a few minutes stretching his wings
in the clinic's flight cage.

Dr. Maureen Murray takes the falcon from the flight cage.

Dr. Florina Tseng prepares to band the falcon prior to release.

 The bird is released.

Doctors Murray, Roseanne Bezzant, Nicole Rose and Tseng gather to reminisce the last seven months with the patient.

“It’s nothing short of a miracle that this bird
is flying away today".
Dr. Maureen Murray
